The Sun Odyssey 43 is a large and attractive ocean-going sail boat which benefits from the special care Jeanneau gives to quality, details and beauty. "Sandpiper" was specially commissioned for Isle of Skye Yachts and has all the additional features and sailing performance that our discerning customers have come to appreciate.
The level of comfort on board is excellent. Reassuring under all weather conditions, the SO43 is easy to handle; twin helm stations with navigation instrumentation mounted at the helm, powerful winches, furling genoa, fully battened mainsail with lazy jacks and jiffy mainsail reefing, 80% Harken hardware, electric windlass, teak decks and cockpit. There is also a large cockpit table on which to dine al fresco!
Down below in the navigation area full modern electronic instrumentation is provided including Chart Plotter/GPS, Navtex and DSC VHF.
Down below there are berths in 4 cabins plus the saloon; 4 berths in two double cabins aft, a double and a single berth in the saloon plus 2 bunks and a double cabin forward. There are also two heads with showers, navigation area and an L-shaped galley.
The yacht is powered by Volvo 55hp engine, and, should you require it the steering can be assisted by integrated Auto pilot. In the navigation area full modern electronic instrumentation is provided.
Central heating, fridge, radio/CD and all galley and safety equipment for parties of up to 10 people will all be found on board helping you to relax and enjoy sailing this attractive boat. All safety equipment is provided to MCA Category 2 standards.
The Jeanneau SO 43 provides a pleasing mix of interior space, exterior style and sailing performance which appeals to everyone.
