RYA Shore Based Course

Also recognised as a Shorebased RYA Training establishment, Isle of Skye Yachts have successfully run several "classroom" courses over the winter months. The success of these was helped by the first class facilities available at the Sabhal Mor Ostaig which is home to the Gaelic sector of the University of Highlands and Islands.

For winter 2011/2012 we are now taking bookings for the RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship two day course on Saturday's 21st and 28th January 2012.

We are now recognised to run the SRC (VHF/DSC) Radio operator’s course. This is a one day course and the next scheduled date is Saturday 3rd Deember 2011 with another course planned for February 2012. For groups of 3 or more people dates for the VHF/DSC course can be arranged.
