For
sailors who enjoy the exhileration that smaller yachts offer,
the Bavaria 32, is the first choice. A spirited performer, on
and off the wind she is also sea kindly. The spacious accommodation
below decks makes her popular with crews of up to six persons.
Sleat Princess is easy to manage on deck
with all sail controls led back to the cockpit. The teak decks
are comfortable to walk on and on the foredeck the electric
anchor windlass will take the strain out of anchoring. The
yacht is fitted with a fully-battened mainsail with lazy-jacks
and stowing it is made easy with a Packamain system. The roller
furling genoa is also controlled from the cockpit.
Wheel steering and auto-helm make steering
simple, with the instrument displays on a consol forward of
the helm. The cockpit is spacious and is sheltered with a
sprayhood. Below decks there is accommodation for six, with
two in the forepeak, a generous double aft cabin and two single
berths in the saloon. The heads compartment is also generous
in size and provides a wet locker as well as shower and toilet.
