The Bavaria 36 Cruiser is a delightful and spacious boat and is equipped to a very high standard. On deck the Bavaria 36 Cruiser is easy to handle and to work on. There is an electric windlass on the foredeck to assist with anchoring. The cockpit is spacious and can be accessed from the dinghy via a transom walk-through from the wide bathing platform. A pedastal forward of the wheel makes the instruments, chart plotter and the autohelm easy for the helmsperson to see and to operate.
All sail controls are led aft to the cockpit and the mainsail has lazyjacks
and a Packamain storage system. The roller furling Genoa is also controlled
from the cockpit. A back-stay tensioner and bendy mast enhance her sailing
performance.
Below decks there is accommodation for eight, with two in the forepeak,
twin double aft cabins and two single berths in the saloon. The heads
compartment is provided with a shower and hot water is available after
using the upgraded 30HP engine. Warm air central heating takes the chill
off cooler evenings.
Down below, the galley is well equipped with a double sink, cooker with two burners and oven, fridge, a full supply of kitchen equipment and generous stowage space. The navigation area is fully equipped with all the charts and pilot books you will need for the area as well as a DSC VHF radio and Navtex. A radio/CD player is fitted for entertainment.
As with all our yachts, Gem is fully fitted with safety equipment to charter standards.
At 11.4M/37ft 5in the Bavaria 36 Cruiser is an attractive middle of the size range cruising yacht. They are comfortable for six and economical for eight persons, and their good sailing performance and lengthy equipment list makes them very popular.
