COUNTESS OF SLEAT : Elan Impression 434 - 10 berth - 44'

New in 2008 the attractive Elan 434, "Countess of Sleat" is the Isle of Skye Yachts flagship. Designed by Rob Humphreys, the Impression Range is Elan’s move from their proven Racing Yachts into fast and comfortable Cruisers. Designed for safe and fast passage making, her well thought out design and layout of hardware allows for easy handling.

On deck she has twin wheels which allow steering in comfort on any point of sailing. This also helps make the spacious cockpit easily accessible via the transom platform and large cockpit steps. All the sail controls are lead back to the cockpit where is there is plenty of space for all the crew. However, should you need to go forward to operate the electric windlass her wide sidedecks ensure that you can work in comfort.

In the navigation area full modern electronic instrumentation is provided including Chart Plotter, Navtex and DSC VHF radio. The yacht is powered by Volvo 55HP Saildrive Engine, and, should you require it the steering can be assisted by integrated Auto pilot.

Accommodation below is centred on the bright and airy Saloon with a table large enough to seat all the crew to dinner. Forward of here are a double and a bunk cabin plus a heads compartment whilst at the aft end are two double cabins, one of which is en-suite with the larger heads compartment with a separate shower stall. The massive water tankage of almost 800l will allow you to wash weekly (whether you need to or not!)

Central heating, fridge, radio/CD and all galley equipment will all be found on board helping you to relax and enjoy sailing this attractive boat. The L shaped galley is safe and easy to work in and the hob has the benefit of no fewer than 3 Burners!
